The Commandant's Professional Reading List (CPRL) represents an updated version of those books most pertinent for professional development and critical thinking at each level. The CPRL is arranged into two sections: "Commandants Choice" and "Grade Levels." Each Marine shall read a minimum of five books from the “Commandants Choice” or. A leveled book collection is a large set of books organized in levels of difficulty from the easy books that an emergent reader might begin to the longer, complex books that advanced readers will select. In some schools, the collection is housed in a central area. There are multiple copies of many books. There might be ten levels for grades K.
This resource includes titles of books listed by their guided reading level. Parents and students have a guide to help them find appropriate titles. They can take them to the library, or use them at home searching for e-books. Hundreds of titles are listed from A-Z by their guided reading level.
